Where is my data stored? +
On your phone. Sensitive records (labs, medical records) are encrypted at rest with AES-256 using a key stored in your device's secure keychain. There's no server holding your identifiable health data today.
Is Luminara a medical device or a diagnosis? +
No. Phases, lab flags and wellness scores are informational and always paired with "not a diagnosis — review with your provider." We don't claim FDA clearance or clinical validation.
Can a partner see my data? +
Only if you turn on the partner space, set a PIN, and grant it. The sensitive direction (partner viewing your summary) is off by default. You can revoke either direction instantly, with no friction.
What if I want to help research? +
It's opt-in and granular. You pick which data types to contribute, and only an anonymised bundle ever leaves — dates become day-offsets and names/notes/providers are stripped. Revoke anytime.
Can I export or delete everything? +
Yes. You can export a full local snapshot or clear data by type. Because nothing lives on a server, deleting on-device is the whole story.
